Aaron Matthew is a US-born performing musician and yoga instructor based in Miami, FL. An eclectic array of influences and life experiences informs his music, yoga, and creative gifts.
His deep-southern roots start in Georgia where he soaked in American genres like country, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and hip-hop in his youth. Around 2012, Aaron discovered yoga, dreadlocked his long hair, and adventured to a foreign country in the Caribbean where he didn’t know anyone or speak the language.
He spent 8 years of his young adulthood living in the Dominican Republic as a performing artist and digital nomad. He gained priceless influences from Afro-Caribbean rhythms and genres, achieved fluency in Spanish, and practiced with yogis from all over the planet.
In 2026, Aaron performs music and teaches yoga regularly in the Florida. Off the mat and away from the stage, he enjoys podcasts, cooking, and camping, is passionate about sustainable living, and loves spending time with his wife and daughters.
