Your Saturday Morning Reset

Start the day feeling more like yourself.

Before the messages, meetings and demands begin, take one intentional hour to breathe, move and reconnect.

Ortega Porch Yoga is a welcoming alternative to crowded studios: an unhurried outdoor practice with room for personal guidance, thoughtful modifications and meaningful movement.

You may arrive feeling

Busy, tense or disconnected

  • Your mind is already racing through the day ahead
  • Your shoulders, back or hips feel tight from the week
  • You want to move, but large classes feel impersonal
  • You need a practice that meets you where you are
→
Make space to leave feeling

Grounded, refreshed and connected

  • More present in your body and breath
  • Gently energized for the day ahead
  • Supported by clear, personal instruction
  • Part of a warm neighborhood community

You don’t need to be flexible, experienced or “good at yoga.” You only need to arrive as you are.

All levels are welcome, with accessible options throughout the class.

Why Porch Yoga?

A different kind of yoga class.

This isn’t a packed room where you disappear into the back row. It’s a personal neighborhood practice designed to help you feel seen, supported, and comfortable from your first breath.

01

Only six students

A deliberately small group creates space for individual attention without losing the energy and encouragement of practicing together. You’ll never feel lost in the crowd.

02

Guidance that meets you

Aaron offers clear alignment cues, accessible modifications, and options for different experience levels—so you can practice with confidence instead of comparing yourself to anyone else.

03

Fresh air. Real connection.

Practice outside in the quiet of an Ortega back porch, surrounded by natural light and greenery. It’s grounded, welcoming, and intentionally removed from the rush of a commercial studio.

Personal enough to feel supported. Relaxed enough to feel at home. Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. · 60 minutes · Gentle Vinyasa/Slow Flow · All levels welcome

03

Good to Know

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to feel comfortable, prepared and confident before joining us on the porch.

  • All experience levels welcome
  • Adults 18 and older
  • Only six students per class
  • Advance registration required
Is this class beginner-friendly?

Yes. No previous yoga experience is required. Aaron provides clear instructions, accessible modifications and options for different levels of experience throughout the class.

Do I need to be flexible?

Not at all. Flexibility is not a prerequisite for yoga. The practice is designed to help you explore movement and breath at an appropriate pace for your body—not achieve a particular shape or compete with anyone else.

What should I bring?

Please bring your own yoga mat, towel and water, and wear clothing that allows you to move comfortably. You are also welcome to bring any personal yoga blocks, straps, blankets or other props you prefer to use.

Where does the class take place?

Classes take place on a private residential back porch in Ortega, Jacksonville. To protect the privacy of the home, the exact address is not displayed publicly.

The address, parking directions and arrival instructions are included in your purchase-confirmation email. Please do not share the private address publicly.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive between 8:15 and 8:20 a.m. This gives you time to park, set down your mat and settle in. Class begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and lasts 60 minutes.

How many students are in each class?

Each class is limited to six students. The small-group format allows Aaron to provide more attentive guidance and creates a relaxed, personal atmosphere. Registration closes automatically when all six spaces are reserved.

What happens if it rains?

Because this is an outdoor experience, class may be canceled or rescheduled if rain, severe weather, heat, or another condition makes the porch unsafe or impractical.

If Aaron cancels because of weather, your registration will become a credit that may be used for another available Saturday. Updates will be sent to the email address used when booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 24 hours before class to receive a credit for another available Saturday. Because each class has only six spaces, cancellations made less than 24 hours before class and no-shows are not eligible for a credit or refund.

What if I have an injury or medical condition?

Complete the intake form honestly and let Aaron know about relevant injuries, health conditions, recent procedures, or physical limitations before class.

Yoga instruction is not medical care. Obtain guidance or clearance from a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate. You may rest, modify, or decline any movement during class.

Can I participate if I am pregnant?

Please disclose your pregnancy on the intake form and consult your qualified healthcare professional before participating. Aaron can offer general movement options, but cannot provide individualized medical advice or determine whether yoga is appropriate for your pregnancy.

Is the waiver and intake form required?

Yes. Every participant must complete the digital waiver and brief health/intake form before attending their first class. The form link is included in your purchase-confirmation email. Your registration is not complete for attendance purposes until the required form has been submitted.

Is there a bathroom available?

Yes. Students may use a bathroom inside the home if needed. Please let Aaron know when you arrive or at any point during your visit, and he will show you where it is located.

What is the minimum age to participate?

Porch Yoga classes are currently available to adults 18 years of age and older. Registration and the required waiver must be completed by the participating adult.

Are you ready to activate your most authentic version?

You don’t need to arrive experienced, flexible or perfectly prepared. Come with your mat, an open mind and a willingness to listen to your body.
