The War on Consciousness: Banned Ted Talk by Graham Hancock

Graham Hancock is a contemporary researcher and author who has famous for asking rational questions about our irrational society. He's been on Joe Rogan's podcast and even got himself banned from Ted Talk. That's right, another lecture censored and removed from the official Ted channels due to backlash from the "gatekeepers of truth".

The two videos below host essentially the same lecture from Hancock on regards to what he calls, "The War on Consciousness". The first of the videos is from the channel "After Skool" and makes a great animation along with Graham's lecture and the second is his actual banned Ted Talk. We've got a war on everything else, why not the mind too. Here's a brief intro to the video and I encourage you to listen all the way through to fully grasp the message. Don't forget to SHARE and comment below to let me know what you think! Thanks for reading!

What is death? Our materialist science reduces everything to matter, materialist science in the West says that we are just meat, we’re just our bodies. So when the brain is dead, that’s the end of consciousness, there is no life after death, there is no soul; we just rot and are gone. Actually, many honest scientists should admit that consciousness is the greatest mystery of science and that we don’t know exactly how it works. The brain is involved in it some way but we’re not sure how. It could be that the brain generates consciousness the way a generator makes electricity, if you hold to that paradigm, then of course you can’t believe in life after death, when the generator’s broken, consciousness is gone. But it’s equally possible that the relationship — and nothing in neuroscience rules it out – that the relationship is more like the relationship of the TV signal to the TV set, and in that case, when the TV set is broken, of course the TV signal continues. And this is the paradigm of all spiritual traditions, that we are immortal souls temporarily incarnated in these physical forms. Read more ....
